Move better, feel stronger and live well
Hello, I’m Tracey Ann
I'm an experienced Yoga teacher based in Northamptonshire. I don’t take Yoga seriously, but I do take teaching Yoga seriously.
For me, Yoga doesn’t need to be intimidating, complicated or perfect. It should be something that helps you move better, feel stronger and give you the space to breathe. So whether you’re brand new to the mat, returning after a break, recovering from surgery or simply looking to take better care of yourself, there’s a place for you in class.
My teaching is practical, welcoming and adaptable. I want you to enjoy your class, understand what you’re doing and feel confident enough to work with your body rather than against it.
The goal is not to be good at Yoga, the goal is to feel good because of Yoga.
I studied Rajadhiraja Yoga with Ganga at the Himalayan Yoga Institute. My studies taught me that Yoga is far more than a series of postures. It’s about movement, breath and stillness, all working together to support your body, calm your mind and build resilience.
Since qualifying, life has given me an even deeper understanding of what it means to adapt, recover and rebuild. In the space of 12 months, I’ve had breast cancer surgery and a total hip replacement, so I know how important it is to feel safe, supported and encouraged when your body has been through change.
In my classes, Yoga is not a competition. Every body is different. We all arrive with different strengths, limitations, energy levels and life experiences. Some postures will feel natural, some will feel challenging and some may never be right for your body and that’s absolutely okay.
There is always a modification, and modifications are a sign of strength.
My role is to guide you, encourage you and help you get the best from your practice. Sometimes that means working gently. Sometimes it means building strength. Sometimes it means slowing down and breathing properly for the first time all day.
My goal is to help you feel stronger, more confident and comfortable in your own skin, wherever you are in life .
I hope we get to meet soon
